Year-round, we invite volunteers from all walks of life to

How You Can Contribute

Our volunteering slots are limited to four at a time to
ensure personalized experiences and effective teamwork.

This gives everyone the opportunity to immerse
themselves in our community.

As a volunteer, you can help neighbors and local farmers,
lend a hand in our kitchen, or get involved in various workshops we host.

Whether it’s cooking up a delicious vegetarian meal or

Food, Community & Contributions

We take pride in our food philosophy at
Sunny Hill — primarily vegetarian,

and we source our ingredients locally and
organically whenever possible.

We want our volunteers to enjoy wholesome
meals that fuel their efforts!

Meals often include fresh produce, dairy like milk and eggs,
and the occasional treat derived from
contributions to our beloved 'magic jar.'

This jar is vital for funding extras that help enhance
the volunteer experience and support
our community projects.

The Sunny Hill community consists of cooperative members,
long-term residents,
and short-term guests or volunteers.

Our cooperative manages the land and buildings,
while the Sunny Hill Association runs various projects and events,

collaborating with networks across Slovenia and beyond.
